There will be plenty of cheap Airbnbs available for you to rent. Airbnb and other vacation rental options are very common in Montreal. The city is very vibrant and filled with fun things for you to see and do. How do I get to my accommodation and what can I do?

Montreal has many different neighborhoods, so if you are planning on staying in one of these homes, it will be easy to get around. You'll have many different options to choose from when you arrive in Montreal, which is great.

There are plenty of public transportation options in and around Montreal. You will be able to buy Metro tickets at most Metro stations. If you plan on riding the metro a fair amount, it is recommended that you get a Metro day ticket. A pass that costs just $10 allows access to all of the subway and the bus networks for one day.

If you just plan on taking the subway, it will cost you about $3.25 to ride the same route. You will need 10 metro tickets if you are planning to ride the subway a lot. Montreal has several highway connections with other areas in Quebec, as well as other Canadian provinces. If you've driven from an area other than Quebec or New Brunswick, the highway to reach Montreal will be the 401 in Ontario and the 20 in New Brunswick.

If you've driven from outside of Quebec, you can take the highway that leads through the city to a number of other cities in the country - even to Quebec City! Highways 15 and 16 go north and south through the city, connecting several major cities in Quebec and Canada.
