Many Montreal hotels offer guests the kind of amenities that they need, such as spas, gyms, and swimming pools. Although the cost of a hotel in these areas can vary greatly, there are a few options available for you. There will be many good Airbnbs available and other places you can rent a vacation rental at if you are willing to pay more. How will you get from one place to another?

Montreal has many different neighborhoods, so travelling by bus or taking a taxi is incredibly easy. You will have plenty of options to get around in Montreal, so keep in mind that you have many different options available.

Public Transportation: There are many different ways to get around in Montreal. Metro & Bus: Metro tickets are sold at most metro stations. We suggest purchasing a daily pass unless you plan to do a ton of walking or riding the bus a good deal. A metro or bus pass is only $10 for a full day of free travel!

Using the subway to travel from one city to another is really easy, and if you just want to ride the subway, the ride will cost you just $3.25. You could even buy ten tickets to ride the metro for just $27.50 (or, the bus)! If you're traveling a lot, you may want to get a Metro card or an Ops card to use for subway and bus rides. Opus cards cost $6 and can be filled with money or other value.

Cash-value smart cards work just like if your bank deposited money in a credit/debit account, so when someone charges someone to ride a metro or bus, the money is automatically deducted from the balance that was deposited. If it's likely that you'll need to use public transport a lot, we highly suggest getting a card that gives you access to more than 100 different types of passes. You should buy either 1-, 2-, or 3-day unlimited pass cards for $10, $15, or $27 for a one-week pass.

Some transit cards let you ride the metro or the bus as often as it's convenient for you. This is great if you plan to do a whole lot if you stay here. If your stay in Montreal is for a longer time, don't fret because there are many other options!

Montreal has some great highways, connecting it with the rest of the province and the rest of Canada. You can reach Montreal easily by taking the 401 in Ontario, or the 20 in New Brunswick/N.

If you've driven from outside Quebec, you can take Highway 14 through Mont-Royal to get to Montreal (and even to Quebec City!). From there, it's easy to drive to several other cities in Quebec, but it's easier to get to Montreal by bus! Highways 15 and 15A run north-southed, allowing you to connect to many cities in Canada.
