If it's likely that you will use public transport a lot, we suggest getting a smart card that charges you a fixed amount for each kilometer of travel. You should buy either 1-, 2-, or 3-day unlimited pass cards for $10, $15, or $27 for a one-week pass.

Passes that are valid for 7 days allow riders to travel anywhere they want to go! Those passes are especially handy if you are going to do a bunch of things! If it's going to be a while, don't be worried because Opus is offering 31-day unlimited use passes for only $84!

Montreal has several highway connections that will take you all over Canada. If you've driven from an Ontario province, you'll want to take the Highway 301 or 20 (or other major routes) to drive to the city.

If you've driven from outside Quebec, you can take Highway 14 through Mont-Royal to get to Montreal (and even to Quebec City!). From there, it's easy to drive to several other cities in Quebec, but it's easier to get to Montreal by bus! Highways 15 and 15A run north-southed, allowing you to connect to many cities in Canada.
