If it's likely that you will use public transport a lot, we suggest getting a smart card that charges you a fixed amount for each kilometer of travel. You will need to pay for a day of unlimited rides to get around Montreal. These cards are prepaid and you pay with cash or cards that are prepaid.

The pass can be loaded with as many city tours as your heart desires! If your stay in Montreal is more than just a week, don't be worried - as long as it's over for 31 days, the fares will be just as cheap.
